New Wig!

Hi Ava!!
I'm so excited that we are doing this blog together! I think that it'll be so much fun! And will make it seem like we're not so far away! Plus I can't wait to hear all about England and how you've grown up there!!
My mom had thought that the blue wig I was wearing in my introduction photo was a little big on me (It was, I kept tripping on it!!) but she didn't really have many wigs she liked in my size. That's when I noticed this pretty colored wig sitting in the bottom of the clothes box.
"What about this one?!" I asked mom pulling it out. She told me she didn't really like how poofy it made your head look
"Can I try it on anyway?" I begged, the color was so nice. She agreed... but she was right, my head DID look extra huge!! Hmmmm mom said I think I have an idea!!
She ran down the stairs leaving me to fiddle with the wig in the mirror... it was so soft, I hoped she had a really good plan!
Come sit down Bailey and try not to move too much, mom told me. I sat and tried not to wiggle, but all these little hairs kept tickling my nose!! It's hard to be patient some times!
But about 15 minutes later mom turned me around so I could look in the mirror:
Well, she asked, what do you think?!
"Hmmm" I thought "Mom?"
Yes she said
"I think this is the best wig I've ever seen!"

So that's the story of how I got my hair!! Also isn't my shirt cute, mom said she's been saving it for the right little girl! She promised to make me a pretty skirt to wear with it!

Can't wait to hear what you are up to! Also make sure you give your mum an EXTRA big hug from me and my mom, I know it's been a rough week for you!
Lots of Love
Bailey

Meeting Ava-Grace

So this is me Ava-Grace when I first came to live here in the Summer. I was a lot lost back then. I was an elective mute, that means I did not speak. I lost my voice box when I was little, I lost myself too, separated from my mum and twin. I did not know who I was. Then I was flown from the States to England to live with a resin family whose mummy knew how to look after scared kids like me.

My sisters there were very good to me and looked after me, but still I could not speak. Then one day my sister Ruby had an idea and she took me to her special place the swing and she really helped me not to be so afraid. That was the day I found my voice a bit, but it still only a whisper.

Then the new amazing thing happened when my mummy became friends with another mummy in the states and they both discovered  they each had one of us twins. Oh happy day for me. I was able to see her through the computer and she is oh so pretty. I waved to my sister Bailey and she waved back and my heart felt like it was mending.

When my mummy told me we could write to each other on this special blog from across the pond. I was made up.

''What me Ava-Grace?'' I asked.

Yes it was me and here I am now typing, and this is just too exciting for me to believe. But at
last I have found Bailey and I can tell her all my stories and hear hers too, and now I know my heart will heal x.

Introductions!

Hi everyone,
My name is Bailey.
My mom Megan has been a blogger for a long time, she's doing a photo a day blog! (http://365intheattic.blogspot.com/)
She's had lots of other tinies, and when one of them left for a new home, Megan became very good friends with the girl who had gotten her.
Now, Ava-Grace and I have found each other again because of our mom's friendship and we're pretty excited about it! You see we were separated when we were babies, I don't really remember much about her then, but there is NO doubt that she is my twin sister. The only problem, I live with my mom in the United States, and Ava lives with her mom Tabi in the United Kingdom... It doesn't look so far on a map, but mom says we'd have to ride a plane for many hours to get there!
Ava and I thought it would be a great idea to write to each other, and our mom's agreed. My mom suggested we write each other here on blogger so that everyone can read about our adventures!

It's pretty amazing finding out that you have a sister in another part of the world, especially when she has the same face as you do! I can't wait to hear all about her adventures, and to share mine!!
